Visiting the Library

Location

We’re located in Bloomsbury, Central London, a short walk from London Underground and national railway stations.

The Library is housed within Senate House. We are on the 4th floor. Two lifts are available on the ground floor, opposite the University of London reception desk, in the South Block. The Collections, study spaces and reading rooms are on the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th floors (access is via the 4th floor). View the floorplans. Map and transport information.

Opening hours

The Library has two opening hour schedules – term-time and vacation hours. Also note that the main library opening hours are slightly different to the Special Collections opening hours.
